e-Business Specialization
This course is motivated by the needs of companies to conduct business electronically and the key role of Internet technologies. Companies of all types and sizes are faced with moving their business on-line or risk going out of business. This has led to todays situation of exponential growth in e-Business. Electronic business entails the proper application of multiple technologies, such as client-side applications, databases, server programs, security, and user interfaces. This course prepares the student for designing and implementing distributed, Internet-enabled e-Business systems.
